General Information

In order for economic operators to know which rules apply to goods in another MS, they cancontact the Product Contact Points (PCPs) at any MS or visit their websites.

ThewebsiteoftheEuropeanCommission:(https://ec.europa.eu/growth/single-market/goods/free-movement-sectors/mutual-recognition/contacts-list/0 lists the addresses (links) of the PCPs of the MS.

The Quality Policy Directorate of the General Secretariat for Industry of the Ministry ofDevelopment and Investments has been designated as the National Product Contact Point, National Contact Points for Products provide the following information online:

1. information on the principle of mutual recognition and the application of Regulation (EU)2019/515 in the territory of their Member State, including information on the procedure setout in Article 5 “Assessment of goods”
2. he contact details, , which make it possible to communicate directly with the competentauthorities of that Member State,
3. the legal remedies available and the relevant procedures in the territory of their MemberState in the event of a dispute between the competent authorities and the economic operator,including the SOLVIT procedure (www.ec.europa.eu/solvit),
4. at the request of an economic operator or competent authority of another Member State,any useful information, such as electronic copies of national technical rules and nationaladministrative procedures applicable to goods in the territory where the Contact Point isestablished. Also, information on whether those goods or goods of that type are subject toprior authorisation under national law
5. respond within 15 working days of receiving the request,
6. do not charge a fee for the information they provide.
